Biography:

Growing up with Down’s Syndrome may have provided challenges for Rishi, but he channels his frustrations and isolation from his peers into art, creating a beautiful anthology of colors and life. Rishi is driven self taught and upcoming artist with great interest in painting and sketching and with a goal to become determined to well recognised in the world of art. He proves that any self determination and hard work can overcome any disability. Rishi's favourite styles of art are landscape, cityscape and abstract paintings with acrylic.

Artwork:

  1. Color of Life - Acrylic on Canvas, 24x24”. In this piece, “Color of Life”, Rishi depicts three lotuses: one pure white, another warm welcoming yellow, and lastly as a devoted pink flower all of which are “rooted” in murky waters so as to depict an uplifting message; human life is redeemable through happiness, friendship and devotion.
