ARTIST of THE YEAR FEATURED IN SUNDANCE DOCUMENTARY

Congratulations to one of our Artists of the Year, Amrit Khurana who will be featured in a documentary that showcases the lives of 5 adults on the spectrum. This powerful film dispels the myths surrounding Autism and beautifully paints a more accurate narrative on what it means to live on the spectrum.

"Amrit is a young woman based in Noida, India. Nonspeaking, she began to communicate with her mother through her art, expressing her daily routine with images and her emotions via the intensity of her brushstrokes. Not speaking doesn't mean she has nothing to say."

The Reason I Jump premieres at Sundance Film Festival on January 25.

Youth4Jobs also supports students of the visually impaired school for girls as we host workshops for them that build upon life-skills and professional skills. Just this month of November, we took 3 girls on a tour of old city, Hyderabad to explore important monuments, learn about local artwork and business along with local culture and cuisine. This tour was captured in a documentary short, the “Youth4Jobs Heritage Walk Documentary”, that will be featured at the Hyderabad Literary Festival (HLF) on January 24th-26th.
