art of all abilities
We believe in art as a powerful tool for expression, empowerment, and social transformation.
Here, it is not just art—it is the way we experience and engage with the world and each other. Join us in supporting talented artists and spreading the joy of art on a global scale.
Discussing Disability
Approximately one out of every seven people worldwide is living with some form of disability. This number is heavily concentrated in developing countries, with between 40 and 80 million living in India alone.
Investing in the young
Not Just Art is a new initiative of Youth4Jobs Foundation, a nonprofit one-stop-shop for companies who want to have a diverse workforce. Youth4Jobs focuses on skilling youth with disabilities for inclusion in the modern workplace, with training centers in twelve Indian states. It works closely with more than 500 corporations to create an inclusive Indian workforce.
Youth4Jobs also supports students of the visually impaired school for girls as we host workshops for them that build upon lifeskills and professional skills. Just this month of November, we took 3 girls on a tour of old city, Hyderabad to explore important monuments, learn about local artwork and business along with local culture and cuisine.
ARTIST OF THE YEAR FEATURED IN SUNDANCE DOCUMENTARY
Congratulations to one of our Artists of the Year, Amrit Khurana who will be featured in a documentary that showcases the lives of 5 adults on the spectrum. This powerful film dispels the myths surrounding Autism and beautifully paints a more accurate narrative on what it means to live on the spectrum.
"Amrit is a young woman based in Noida, India. Nonspeaking, she began to communicate with her mother through her art, expressing her daily routine with images and her emotions via the intensity of her brushstrokes. Not speaking doesn't mean she has nothing to say."
The Reason I Jump premieres at Sundance Film Festival on January 25.
HYDERABAD LITERARY FESTIVAL (HLF)
Youth4Jobs also supports students of the visually impaired school for girls as we host workshops for them that build upon life-skills and professional skills. Just this month of November, we took 3 girls on a tour of old city, Hyderabad to explore important monuments, learn about local artwork and business along with local culture and cuisine. This tour was captured in a documentary short, the “Youth4Jobs Heritage Walk Documentary”, that will be featured at the Hyderabad Literary Festival (HLF) on January 24th-26th.
